What is the Red Tent?
Some would say the Red Tent is just a women’s group but its much more than that… It’s a place where women are accepted for who they are regardless of Race, religion, orientation, age.. Here is the place we come to and comfort, laugh, cry, dance, sing, release and mourn together and even promote change.
It is a place where you go to be with other women and be free of judgment and criticism.. the red tent is a safe and Sacred place to just Be. Be in a group or in solitude.
Here we teach our Daughters’, Heal ourselves and others.
The red tent is a place where even thought we all walk Separate Paths and Different Journeys’ we go to Remember to be as one as well.
It is a place where each women and girl finds the strength to change themselves and in turn change the world.
The Red Tent of Hampton Roads is a Community of women who support each other through life…and if needed to her final journey.
